As a Field Site Manager II, you will be using your skills and expertise to oversee the maintenance servicing, repairing, inspecting, and overhauling of our aircraft and/or aircraft systems and subsystems to ensure that our aircraft and/or systems are in an airworthy condition and are safe for flight. You'll also ensure that all of our customer issues are satisfactorily resolved in a timely and efficient manner. The Field Site Manager II will be the senior SNC representative for the field site.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains - air, land, sea, space and cyber.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. Responsibilities Include:Ensuring that the field site and all team members operate in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. This includes ensuring that staff receive proper training and maintaining accurate recordsCollaborate with stakeholders such as clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies. This includes communicating project status, addressing concerns, and developing solutions to problems for themselves and all team membersPlanning and executing projects related to the field site stand ups. This includes developing project plans, overseeing project teams, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budgetResponsible for creating and maintaining a positive work culture that encourages employee engagement and growth. This includes establishing regular communication channels, providing feedback and recognition, and organizing training and development opportunities to help team members grow and advance in their careers. By fostering a culture of employee engagement and growth, the Field Site Manager can help improve team morale, increase productivity, and retain top talentMust-haves:Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and 10 years' experienceRelated experience may be considered in lieu of required educationExperience with the practical application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practicesProgressive experience with Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection processes and procedures and/or returning planes to serviceAbility to understand and execute contract documents such as Performance Work Statement (PWS)Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationallyAbility to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locationsAbility to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to various OCONUS operating locationsCurrent/Active Top Secret with SCI eligibilityPreferred:A higher level degree may substitute for experiencePrevious management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competenceFederal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certification and Inspection Authorization (IA) DesignationUnderstandingof FAA regulations, policies, and proceduresBackground in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US MilitaryThis posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and .IMPORTANT NOTICE:This position requires current/active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance.
