Staff Accountant

Description Basic Job Duties: u2022 Prepare and post monthly journal entries. u2022 Prepare monthly financial statements and perform analysis as needed. u2022 Assemble financial package for Branch Managers and the Board. u2022 Provide research data for monthly financial analysis. u2022 Prepare and maintain high-level Review Notes for Financial Statements u2022 Oversee and provide coverage for Jorlease/Cash Accountant: u2022 Perform numerous banking functions on the banku2019s Internet website. u2022 Reconcile cash deposits to the bank daily. u2022 Complete Balance Sheet account reconciliations and analysis. u2022 Prepare Sales Tax prepayments and Quarterly returns. u2022 Prepare monthly Cooperage reports u2022 Prepare CRV Distributor reports and payments. u2022 Prepare Business Property Statements. u2022 Prepare annual audit schedules for external audit. u2022 Maintain fixed asset depreciation system. Other duties as required. Experience Required: u2022 Minimum of 5years in a professional accounting position.
