Schedule: Full Time Evenings Shift : Monday-Thursday 12:30pm-10:30pm Location: 1800 N HANCOCK RD, Minneola, 34715 The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Orlando + Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando + Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America + AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country + We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year The role you'll contribute: Responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Positions, moves, and assists patients to ensure accurate imaging results. This role performs clerical duties and provides basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. In addition, this position adheres to compliance plans and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies. The value you'll bring to the team: Cross-trains into advanced modalities as needed. Ability to follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, distance and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patient and staff. Other duties as assigned. Performs radiographic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images that meet department standards. Positions patients and equipment, selecting technical factors to produce radiographic images safely and in a timely manner. Performs imaging with correct patient demographic and examination information. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed : + Registered Technologist Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT) + Florida Radiology License + Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
