U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Security Clearance: DoD Clearance: Secret The Raytheon Industry 4.0 team is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer. The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of software products that align with the organization's strategic goals. The candidate will be responsible for faster delivery of secure software bridging the gap between the development environment and operations. This role will be a critical technical liaison between Product Owners and software developers. The ideal candidate should possess experience in seamlessly integrating solutions across various networks. What You Will Do Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development and deployment using Azure DevOps. Create and update CI/CD pipelines for program support (code and databases) on multiple networks Develop automated system integration tests to include API and UX using tools such as Selenium Integrate CI/CD technologies for traditional build teams and possibly cloud based infrastructure Monitor application and infrastructure health using tools such as Azure Monitor and Grafana Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python (required) and/or other scripting languages to streamline monitoring, deployment, and operational tasks. Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and uphold Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements. Assist in defining and tracking Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs). Support infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives using tools like Terraform or Ansible. Create and automating documentation and internal knowledge sharing. Work independently on complex initiatives and objectives Expected to Travel 25% of the time. What You Will Learn Advanced skills in prioritizing tasks and features based on business value and strategic objectives Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, executives, and development teams Ability to analyze product data to identify trends, measure performance, and make data-driven decisions. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires appliable Bachelors degree(STEM) with 8+ years relevant professional experience Or MS with 5 years experience Experience with Azure DevOps and at least three of the following tools: Klocwork, Coverity, LiquiBase, Axilon, Flyway, Git and Selenium Experience with Python or other scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation and monitoring. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer 5+ years of experience as a DevSecOps or in a similar role Experience with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting. Understanding of cloud monitor platforms (AWS, or Azure). The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
