System Integrator II - Scientific

Summary GAMA-1 Technologies, LLC seeks a remote System Integrator II - Scientific who is responsible for integrating and validating software applications, tools, and services to create a cohesive and fully functional environment. The incumbent configures, tests, and deploys software components to ensure seamless interoperability within scientific or enterprise computing systems. This role emphasizes software integration, troubleshooting, and verification activities rather than new feature development. The Software Integrator II ensures all software modules and interfaces operate efficiently and reliably in real-world operational settings. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without formation Security and Confidentiality ObligationsEnsure adherence to organizational information security policies and procedures; actively participate in mandatory security awareness training; and manage confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company protocols and data protection standards.Basic QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related scientific/technical discipline.2-4 years of experience in system integration, software deployment, or IT operations.Hands-on experience integrating enterprise or scientific applications in operational environments.Strong knowledge of configuration management, APIs, interfaces, and data flow between systems.Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving software integration issues.Excellent documentation, communication, and coordination skills.Preferred QualificationsProfessional certificates ITIL, PMP, or related integration/project management certifications are preferred. Experience with HPC, cloud platforms, or distributed computing environments.Familiarity with software version control, orchestration tools, and release management.Knowledge of scientific computing frameworks or enterprise business applications.Work authorization/security clearance requirementsAbility to obtain a security clearance.Work environmentThis work is normally completed in a remote environment.Physical demandsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's and client facilities.
