At this facility, we design ,manufacture rocket engines and unique power systems that support space exploration ,the defense of our nation such as NASAâs SLS, Lockheed Martinâs THAAD, Sierra Nevadaâs Dream Chaser, and the Mars Perseverance Rover.Essential Functions:Finish-form, fit and assemble pre-fabricated parts preparatory to fusion welding, brazing or diffusion bonding and straighten and align distorted assemblies after such operations.Layout, weld, braze or diffusion bond assemblies for assembly, fitting and straightening operations.Build up assemblies composed of pre-fabricated parts which must be finish-formed, trimmed, fitted and located by hand to exacting tolerances. Restore the correct configuration to assemblies which have accumulated distortions or strains in several planes due to welding operations.Build up the initial assembly and check the final fit to other assemblies to ascertain usability of parts and tooling for new assemblies. Perform rework and repair of parts and assemblies.Must have a proven safety record and experience with PPE.
