Eatonu2019s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Electrical Project Manager. The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What youu2019ll do: The Project Manager primary functions are: u2022 Perform site surveyu2019s evaluating current electrical and mechanical conditions and create a design to upgrade, replace, or install new electrical infrastructures from utility and generator inputs to a data room floor distribution base on customer requirements. u2022 Use of modern project management tools and techniques to design and execute projects related to the engineering, procurement, and construction of electrical power system modifications. u2022 Lead modernization projects related to electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution industry with specific focus on critical power systems. u2022 Deliver projects with a high degree of professionalism and safety, using his/her knowledge of industrial and utility power distribution equipment, power system engineering, critical power systems & construction safety. u2022 Have full responsibility for his/her assigned projects and authority to complete them from inception to scope development, planning, execution, management of people and resources. u2022 Have the discipline to create clear and achievable cost, quality, and schedule objectives and follow these objectives through to successful completion. u2022 Provide technical leadership to the district sales & service teams. u2022 Manage and direct a team on awarded projects for electrical equipment, including working knowledge of electrical system design & installation. Equipment includes: Transformers, Switchgear, Switchboards, Distribution Systems, Data Floors, Power Distribution Units, Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS), Motor Control Centers, Automatic Transfer Switches, Generators, Rotating Equipment and AC Drives. u2022 Manages & maintains all assigned projects, takes ownership and responsibility for meeting customer expectations according to all contract requirements. u2022 Prepares, submits, and manages change orders between customer and Eaton. u2022 Manages and communicates the scope of work & responsibilities between Eatonu2019s customers, Eatonu2019s employees, & Eatonu2019s suppliers / sub-contractors. Additional Information: The Project Manager essential functions are: u2022 Manages & maintains the mission critical contracts between Eaton and its customers. u2022 Estimates, prepares, submits, and manages change orders between customer and Eaton. u2022 Manages and communicates the scope of work & responsibilities between Eatonu2019s customers, Eatonu2019s employees, & Eatonu2019s suppliers / sub-contractors. u2022 Establishes, and manages the contract(s) between Eaton and its vendors & subcontractors. u2022 Plans, establishes, maintains, and regularly updates a project schedule on assigned projects. u2022 Manages communication and distributes documentation between Eaton and its customers. u2022 Monitors, reports, and controls costs on assigned projects within estimated project margin. u2022 Reports, forecasts, and presents project financial activity to Eatonu2019s management. u2022 Prepares, distributes, and follows through with project Safety Plan. u2022 Developing Accident Prevention Plans, QC Plans, Environmental Plans & Mobilization Plans. u2022 Responsible for financial performance of project including: Profitability, Project Revenue, and Cash Flow. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree from an accredited Institution with focus on Project Management, Construction Management, or Engineering. u2022 Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing field service engineer/technician roles. u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience managing electrical projects. u2022 Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driveru2019s license. u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. u2022 Ability to travel within the US and outside of the US without restrictions. u2022 Ability to gain access to military and government sites. u2022 Candidates must reside in one of the listed states to be considered (FL, GA, SC, NC, AL, TN, KY, VA, DE, NJ, RI, CT, MA, ME, NH) Preferred Qualifications: u2022 BS in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Construction. u2022 Retired Military. u2022 Efficient with Primavera and/or MS Project. u2022 Project Management Professional. u2022 Knowledge of data center construction. u2022 Working knowledge of packaged equipment solutions. u2022 Technical experience in electrical / mechanical / structural / civil construction techniques. u2022 Knowledge and experience with EM385 Army Corp of Engineer requirements. u2022 Quality Control certifications / experience. u2022 Efficient with MS Office Suite. u2022 Ability to obtain a government security clearance. Skills: Position Criteria: u2022 Strong focus on customer satisfaction. u2022 Adept at successful project execution. u2022 Strong experience to deliver technical solutions to customers. u2022 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to be flexible to adjust to changing project conditions. u2022 Self-Motivating and ability to work independently. u2022 Ability to multitask multiple projects at various stages. u2022 Strong ability to interface with a customer on installation related techniques and building codes. u2022 Strong computer skills, including well versed in MS Office Suite of tools. u2022 Strong knowledge of Eatonu2019s electrical product and service offerings/capabilities. u2022 Possess strong technical writing and presentation ability, organizational skills, documentation, and communication skills, and have previously functioned as part of a team dynamic. u2022 Strong capabilities in breaking down project scope. u2022 Work remotely and engage appropriate team members for support.
