Through various psychotherapeutic strategies the clinician and the client engage to provide relief from their presenting symptoms.Clinical responsibilities:Performs psychological evaluations under the supervision of a Ph.D PsychologistReviews referrals for psychological testing determining appropriateness for this servicesDetermines appropriate testing instrumentsApplies tests according to professional standardsMakes accurate interpretation based on test dataAnalyzes and integrates all testing data into a summary indicating all aspects of consumers’ functioningAddresses the problems, questions and issues identified by the referring sourceUtilizes data analysis to generate practical recommendations to the referral sourceDemonstrates the ability to recognize the elements of a crisis state and knows how to deescalate or resolve the situationEffectively collaborates with the treatment team members and outside sources in the delivery of psychological assessment servicesAdheres to professional code of ethicsEffectively demonstrates the application of child/adolescent specific competenciesMaster’s degree in psychology with licensure and/or certification that grants eligibility to provide standardized psychodiagnostic testing.
