Hyperbaric Tech, PRN, Days

JOB PURPOSE:Administer safe and effective hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist with diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered and reviewed by the hyperbaric provider. Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High school graduate or equivalent. Training in one of the following medical professions required: • Respiratory Therapy, • Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN), • Emergency Medical Technology. • Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in healthcare required.MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: BLS Certification required.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Current Georgia license or certification required in one of the following areas: • Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician • Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) • Emergency Medical Technician • Certified Hyperbaric Technologist • Other CHT qualifying certification Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience is preferred.Piedmont Rockdale HospitalInc
