Job Description: Dispatcher Dispatchers assure timely pick-ups and deliveries to internal and external customers. They dispatch and coordinate orders with Couriers, MNXu2019s Service Partners, and vendors to ensure the retrieval and delivery of shipments. Onsite Monday - Friday 07:00 to 15:30 Essential Job Responsibilities: u00b7 Proactively communicate with customer service and operations to resolve issues that may arise with a driveru2019s work assignment. u00b7 Understand customer requirements on each order, and ensure dispatch aligns with customer requirements. u00b7 Make same-day load acceptance decisions based on current driver capacity in a market. u00b7 Assign drivers to jobs as required and according to priority guidelines. u00b7 Communicate with outside carrier companies and company drivers on daily direction and schedules. u00b7 Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to a logistics activity. u00b7 Develop an understanding of customers' needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met. u00b7 Communicate and explain proposed logistical solutions to customers, management, or other interested parties. u00b7 Provide team activities by establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources. u00b7 Assesses ready time, pick-up location, routing, commitment time, delivery location, and any specific pick-up/delivery. u00b7 Collect all equipment from couriers and ensure no packages are left in company vans. tickets/faxes. u00b7 Ensure the dispatch office and working area are clean and organized. u00b7 Constant communication with the dispatch team on any delays or issues with assigned jobs. u00b7 Place energy and efforts in rendering customer satisfaction. u00b7 Assist co-workers; turn over any incomplete work requiring follow-up to other supervisors before the shift ends. u00b7 Report operation status and flagged issues periodically to management. u00b7 Other duties as assigned. Requirements: u00b7 High school or GED required. u00b7 Proficient in computer skills in Microsoft applications and an aptitude to learn internal systems. u00b7 Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities. u00b7 Transportation experience in dispatch and/or operations supervision is a plus. u00b7 Detail-oriented with an ability to positively influence others across multiple groups. u00b7 An ability to work independently, relying on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish tasks. u00b7 Excellent oral and written communication skills u00b7 Knowledge of electronic transportation platforms and software is a plus. Pay Range: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $22.30/hr to $36.25/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidateu2019s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the companyu2019s performance.
