In this role, you will be responsible for assuring that quality standards and procedures are disseminated and implemented throughout the company. You will perform and report on internal quality system audits and assists in the overall administration of the internal audit program. Location This position will be located on one of our project sites. Candidate must be open to traveling and relocating as needed. Responsibilities u2022 Maintain a high level of understanding of company standards and guidelines u2022 Maintain Client Critique Schedules, Tracking and Trends u2022 Provide update to employees on client critique results u2022 Maintain Corrective Action Reports u2022 Facilitate Root Cause Analysis u2022 Maintain a solid knowledge base of District Quality Manuals u2022 Identify potential quality incidents before they arise u2022 Participate in district standards meetings and provide input/feedback as it relates to quality assurance. u2022 Understand requirements of ISO 9001 Standards. u2022 Help in the planning of, and participates in, internal quality audits. Conduct reviews of required documents and support materials, interviews staff, and administers online audit questions to assess compliance with documented procedures. u2022 Provide administrative support for audits, other Quality Department programs and initiatives, and Monthly Operations Reviews. u2022 Facilitate quality presentations u2022 Disseminate quality information in the office and on the intranet, send results to managers on a weekly basis, writing monthly articles for company newsletter, presenting information at department discipline meetings, etc. u2022 Mentor Project Quality Specialist u2022 Draft and maintain a Project Quality Plan for any given project including the Quality activities required on a project and associated metrics #LI-CB1 Qualifications u2022 Ability to travel and relocate as needed u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in construction management, engineering, welding technology or related field u2022 Working knowledge of quality control procedures relating to construction activities is preferred u2022 ASQ, CQM, CQA or CWI certified and inspection experience a plus u2022 Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in a wide-ranging climates and environments u2022 Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative u2022 Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time u2022 Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity u2022 Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt u2022 Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills u2022 Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives u2022 Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail Other Requirements: + Regular, reliable attendance + Work productively and meet deadlines timely + Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. + Perform work safely and effectively.
