OverviewThe Senior Licensing Specialist acts as the liaison and facilitator of all divisional licensing needs, including vendor relationships, facilitating licensing application and renewals for our entities and individuals through use of electronic systems and in coordination with outside vendors. How you'll make an impactOversees appropriate business entity and individual applications for licenses, renewals and appointments required by 50 statesAssisting in development and implementation of training and resource materialSupports M&A activity within both implementation and integration of licensingLeading continual development and improvement to centralization of licensing informationActs as key resource for licensing protocolsProvides licensing knowledge and assistance to our production teams, client service professionals and the surplus lines tax departmentFacilitate communication between department members, branches, finance departmentCompliance leadership with regulatory bodies to clear inquiries and complaints. About YouRequired:Bachelor's Degree; 5 years of related experience.Maintain or have willingness to obtain (within 3 months of hire) P&C insurance license and surplus lines licensesExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to prepare and conduct internal educational seminars and trainingProficient with technology including, but not limited to, all Microsoft Products, Adobe Connect, Webex, and ability to learn additional software programsAbility to travel.Preferred:Involvement in professional organizations and associations, knowledge of national carriers, TPAs, and professional insurance associations is a plus.2 years of experience in managing entity/company licensing and DRLP's (designated responsible licenses producers)Behaviors:Excellent attention to detail in all essential functions.Ability to work in a fast pace environment, as well as independently.Deadline and task driven.Must keep abreast of changing insurance P&C licensing regulations, guidelines, and individual state laws, and have the ability to timely analyze and synthesize the information to the broader field of licensees.#AP Compensation and benefitsWe offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package.
