General Function: Responsible for performing physical tasks involved in unloading boxes from trailers, moving pallets of goods to a specific location, and loading boxes onto trailers. Download and verify goods received against purchase orders or invoices, keep records of goods received. Sort and stack the boxes for final shipment to stores. Carry out the placement and removal of merchandise in the Hotel. Support the processing areas through the delivery of goods. QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: List Education level, Years of Experience, Technical Knowledge, and/or Certifications required for the position. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Ability to use RF Gun + Ability to obtain PIT Certification + Ability to operate turret truck, stand-up, order picker, walkie rider, sit down forklift and/or tugger ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: List the core duties or tasks that are fundamental to the performance of the job. + Coordinate the loading, unloading, or pack away process using the DC WMS. + Use engineered best methods to unload, load, or handle materials in most efficient manner within work and safety guidelines. + Ability to perform other job functions such as unloader, loader, packaway, etc. + Unloading u2013 Unload cartons from either the trailer by sorting the carton to the proper pallet and wrap completed pallets. Obtain a vendor PO and determine how to style with receiving worksheet; packing slip, freight bill, etc. + Equipment Operator u2013 Ability to obtain operator license to move merchandise throughout the DC. Check equipment using daily checklist. + Checking u2013 Organize paperwork and fill out pallet tags while the order is being unloaded. Scan LPN using RF gun. Attach documentation to the pallet that includes PO, routing number, carton quantity and roller location. Perform 10% check on merchandise type, number of unit/cartons and compare/retail price. + Loading u2013 Scan and load cartons from rapid pac and u201chand carriesu201d into trailer. Using Daily Loading Report, load cartons into trailers and maximize cube capacity. Sort and stack cartons on staging lanes for stores that are not loading. + Hotel u2013 Move pallets of packaway goods off floor of DC into Hotel racks. Take down pallets of goods as merchandise is released from Hotel. + Document all discrepancies and damages then report to Area Supervisor. + Maintain quality, accuracy, and shrinkage control by adhering to established policies/procedures. Job requires ability to work in a warehouse environment, on a concrete floor all day. ? Ability to stand 75-100% of the shift . Requires continuous, standing, walking, hearing, pushing, and pulling. Consistent timeliness and regular attendance is necessary.? Frequently reaching, bending, stooping, talking, hearing (audio equipment), handling objects with hands and lifting to 50 lbs. (20 lbs. frequently). Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
