Medical Technologist Microbiology

Immediately hiring a Medical Lab Technologist in Microbiology in Hicksville Schedule: + Day shift: 7:00am - 5:00pm (10 hour shift) + Tuesday, Thursday and confirming Friday or Saturday Description + Perform microbiology testing, including culture setup, organism identification, and susceptibility testing. + Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment according to established protocols. + Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and reliability. + Document and report findings in compliance with laboratory and regulatory standards. + Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to support patient care. + Maintain quality control and participate in proficiency testing programs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Active NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license + 2+ years of recent experience in microbiology in a medical lab (PCR tests, cultures, susceptibility testing) + ASCP is preferred Skills Mlt, Ascp, Microbiology,
