Candidate will manage more than one functional area ofmanufacturing, such as assembly, disassembly, tool and die, packaging.Candidate will be responsible for coordinating subordinateemployee recruitment, selection andtraining, performance assessment, workassignments, salary, andrecognition/disciplinary actions.Appropriate degree from an accreditedcollege, or equivalent experience/combinededucation, with professional experienceand specialized training commensuratewith assignment.Candidate will be responsible for the safe accomplishment ofassembly, disassembly, processing, testingand inspection of missile bodies, missilesections, and missile components for theTrident II D5 Weapon System. Candidate will ensure personnel adhere tosafety, security, quality, high work ethicsand a teaming environment within theorganization. Other job duties includeparticipation in the preparation andpresentation of proposals, business plans,operating budgets, and program metricswith colleagues, Managers and Sr.Management. The goal of MBOManagement is to ensure all milestones aremet and monitor adherence to the masterschedules, industrial support requirementsplan and program plans by identifyingprogram problems and developingsolutions, such as allocation of resources orchanging requirements.The candidate will be one of four managersworking in MBO assigned to a specificbuilding, with assignment to building on an annual rotational basis. The candidate will be required to work swing shift when operational requirements necessitate. This Position requires Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a related field froman accredited college and significant experience in production, planning, engineering, or other related experience, or equivalent experience combined with education.Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing theefforts of personnel in a lead or supervisoryrole.Must be able to obtain and maintain aDoD secret security clearance. Understanding of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and demonstratedexperience leading or supervising union representedhourly employees.Experience managing schedules and Planof Action and Milestones (POAM) to meetbusiness objectives and driving actions to completion.Desired Skills:Experience collecting and analyzing metrics to make data-based decisionsProficiency with Microsoft Office suiteExperience working in the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program at any Field Site or other Support SiteExperience with scheduling, production, and/or processing requirements related to ordnance operationsLeadership skills and behaviors that align with Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) imperativesExperience facilitating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and/or Continuous Improvement events, and/or Green BeltcertificationExperience with SAPDemonstrated effective written and oral communication skills, including presentations to leadership.Must be able to work effectively in a team environmentCurrent Secret security clearanceOptimal motivational fitSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $90,200 - $159,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
