Role Purpose As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements. Working in conjunction with business, IT service lines, business engagement, enterprise architects and IT leadership, you will leverage your technical expertise in Salesforce development to create scalable and efficient solutions that drive organizational success. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities u00b7 Design (HLD/LLD), develop, and customize Salesforce solutions on platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, other Salesforce technologies, and application integration patterns u00b7 Participate in Salesforce implementation projects across Sales and Service clouds, including CPQ, including but not limited to requirements documentation, systems configuration & development, test documentation/execution, issue identification, and resolution u00b7 Implement complex business logic and workflows to automate processes and enhance user experience. u00b7 Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. u00b7 Design and develop scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions that adhere to best practices, standards, and design patterns. u00b7 Prepare and present code reviews, ensuring code quality and maintainability u00b7 Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, and custom integrations. u00b7 Design and implement data migration strategies to ensure accurate and seamless transfer of data between systems. u00b7 Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce development & configuration best practices, tools, and technologies u00b7 Troubleshoot complex technical issues u00b7 Provide level of effort (LOE) estimates for requirements, design, build, test, and deployment of technical solutions u00b7 Collaborate with Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, Business Engagement, functional stakeholders, and project teams to analyze business requirements and objectives and translate them into scalable solutions on the platform u00b7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams including other technical leads, developers, business analysts, architects, and QA testers to deliver high-quality solutions u00b7 Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders, providing guidance and recommendations as needed u00b7 Maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce configurations and customizations and provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users. u00b7 Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and updates, and evaluate their impact on existing solutions u00b7 Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the Salesforce platform Experiences/Education - Required u00b7 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field u00b7 Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a focus on Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components u00b7Salesforce Certifications are highly desirable u00b7 Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits u00b7 Experience with Salesforce integration tools and techniques (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce Connect, Middleware) u00b7 Proven track record of delivery of high-quality Salesforce solutions across Sales and Service clouds, including CPQ u00b7 Extensive hands-on experience in delivering large-scale deployment projects u00b7 Thorough understanding of the Salesforce portfolio, platform architecture, and related technologies and dependencies u00b7 Extensive knowledge of Salesforce platform u00b7 Experience with enterprise integration and ETL tools u00b7 Knowledge of reporting and analytics concepts and tools u00b7 Extensive knowledge of general CRM concepts, trends, and industry best practices u00b7 Understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and the ability to manage large amounts of data within Salesforce u00b7 Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex requirements and propose innovative solutions u00b7 Must demonstrate the ability to work independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision u00b7 Ability to communicate professionally, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to internal and external stakeholders u00b7 Strong working knowledge of business processes across commercial function u00b7 Experience in achieving positive results among staff at all levels of the organization through demonstrated ability in developing consultative relationships u00b7 Strongly self-motivated and able to prioritize work effectively u00b7 Experience in implementation projects as well as in support Experiences/Education - Desired u00b7 Expertise in Salesforce CRMA is a plus. u00b7 Strong communication and engagement skills u00b7 Exposure to cloud concepts and delivery of business capability via SaaS model and agile methodologies Travel Requirement u00b7 Ability to accommodate travel, including international travel, up to 15% In order to comply with Corningu2019s government contract requirements at this location, if you receive an offer of employment for this position, you will need to provide documentation of your U.S. Person status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
