You’ll serve as a technical authority, guiding network design, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining mission-critical connectivity in classified environments.As a Lead Network Engineer, you will:Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to protect data and control access to classified networks.Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.Diagnose and resolve Layer 2/Layer 3, VPN, and VMware network issues.Coordinate on-site and remotely with users to configure equipment and troubleshoot connectivity.Recommend performance and security enhancements that improve reliability and reduce costs.Interface with senior management and vendor technical teams on network solutions.Work independently or lead small technical efforts with minimal supervision.What You Bring:U.S. Citizenship (required)Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibilityBachelor’s degree (or 6 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)8-10 years of professional networking experienceExpertise in Cisco ISE configuration and troubleshooting, routing/switching, and firewall administrationStrong understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols and network design principlesCertifications such as CCNP or CCIE are highly preferredWhy AMERICAN SYSTEMS:You’re not just an employee — you’re an employee-owner through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).Contribute to work that matters — safeguarding our nation’s most critical missions.Join a team that values integrity, innovation, and impact.AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners.
