Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our hospitality team in Winter Park, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, managing vendor payments, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and payment processing. Responsibilities: u2022 Process vendor payments efficiently, including credit card transactions, checks, and other payment methods. u2022 Ensure all 1099 forms are prepared and submitted in compliance with regulations. u2022 Maintain a thorough understanding of the chart of accounts to accurately categorize financial transactions. u2022 Record and reconcile accounts payable entries to maintain up-to-date financial records. u2022 Monitor and address discrepancies in payment processing and vendor accounts. u2022 Assist in preparing reports and documentation for audits and financial reviews. u2022 Collaborate with vendors to resolve payment issues and ensure smooth transactions. u2022 Handle cash-related tasks, verifying accuracy and ensuring proper documentation. u2022 Support the team in maintaining organized and accessible financial records. u2022 Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and workflows. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. u2022 Experience using Sage or Great Plains ERP preferred u2022 Proficiency in full-charge bookkeeping and financial record management. u2022 Strong knowledge of cash handling and payment posting processes. u2022 Familiarity with preparing and processing 1099 forms. u2022 Solid understanding of chart of accounts and general accounting principles. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. u2022 Effective communication skills for vendor and team interactions.
