Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - School-Based Location: Goleta, CA 93117 Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM) Hours: 37.5 billable hours per weekOrientation: All hours are billable Block Schedule: Not guaranteed Role Overview: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will support student participation and functional performance in educational settings. This role involves working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide direct therapy services, assist with evaluations, document progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and group therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Assist in implementing treatment strategies developed by the supervising OT Support students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills Maintain accurate session notes and documentation per school and compliance standards Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support carryover of strategies Travel between assigned campuses if required Requirements: Active California COTA license (must be in hand at submission) Previous school-based experience strongly preferred Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807.
