This role is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-grade telephony solutions within Microsoft Teams, supporting the full lifecycle from strategy to support.ResponsibilitiesLead the strategic planning, design, and implementation of Microsoft Teams Phone SystemConfigure and manage Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and Session Border Controllers (SBCs)Develop and maintain enterprise telephony architecture within the Microsoft Teams environmentCollaborate with stakeholders to align telephony solutions with organizational goalsEnsure security, reliability, and scalability of Teams-based voice servicesProvide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for telephony issuesOptimize system performance and user experience across the Teams telephony platformMaintain detailed documentation of architecture, configurations, and support processesMentor junior team members and contribute to best practices developmentRequirements8+ years of relevant experience in telephony or unified communicationsProven expertise with Microsoft Teams Phone SystemDeep knowledge of Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and SBCsExperience designing and managing enterprise telephony architecturesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsEducation/Certification RequirementsA Bachelor’s degree is required for this positionClearance RequirementsApplicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Top Secret clearance is required.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
