Collateral & Insurance ProcessorCLASSIFICATION:Non-exemptREPORTS TO:Collateral & Insurance ManagerJOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/ObjectiveThe Collateral & Insurance Processor’s primary focus is the collateral securing loans in the Bank. The processor will work closely with lending staff and other necessary departments to ensure trailing loan documents and required insurance coverages are in place.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Process documents received via email, USPS, workflow queue etc.Maintain the document tracking system on Silverlake by verifying the accuracy and recordation of Deeds of Trusts, Final Title Opinions, Final Title Insurance Policies, hazard/flood insurance, auto/equipment insurance, titles and UCCs etc. Completes Weekly insurance reporting reviewsContact Insurance Companies/Borrowers to inquire on required insurance policiesScan documents received into the electronic filing system SynergyMaintain UCC continuation tracking and obtain continuations as neededRelease titles, deed of trust, UCCs and other documents required per loan payoffOther DutiesForce-place insurance (hazard and flood) on an as-needed basisOther duties as assignedSkills/AbilitiesProfessional written and verbal communication skills required. Professional telephone etiquette required.Must be highly organized and detail oriented.Must become highly proficient in knowing and understanding loan documentation.Must become fluent with the document file system Synergy, outsourced third party insurance website, and SilverlakeSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an office setting, the opportunity to telework is not available. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer. Physical DemandsThis position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open cabinets.
