CVPCU also focuses on acute/chronic conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, afib, and STEMI patients. CVPCU works closely with Surgeons and the heart clinic to ensure their patients are able to successfully return home at discharge. • Patient population may include: post operative cardiac and thoracic surgery, kidney failure, pulmonary issues, overdoses, arrythmias and myocardial infarctions.• This unit requires excellent critical thinking skills and quick decision making skills• Due to the diverse nature this unit provides numerous educational opportunities for our coworkers. • 32 - patient bed unit• RN ratio 3-4 patients, with tech supportQualifications:Education & Licensure:Graduate from an accredited registered nursing programMust hold and maintain a current RN license for the hiring state or hold a compact nursing licenseComply with all state nursing board requirementsPhysical Requirements:Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularlyProlonged standing and walking throughout shiftsCapable of gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting as neededCertifications:ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)— RequiredBLS (Basic Life Support)— Required or must complete within 30 days of hireAdditional unit-specific certifications as required, with timelines for acquisitionInterested?For more information or to apply, please contact:Stephanie Stivers📧 /AA/Minorities/Females/Disabled/VeteransEEO/AA/Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans
