Material Handler

Position: Material Handler Pay: $17.50 Location: El Dorado Hills Shift: 6pm u2013 6am u2013 Every other Wednesday, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday Job Overview: The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient delivery of materials to all departments within our warehouse. This role requires a keen focus on safety, teamwork, and timely delivery to ensure smooth operations. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: + Deliver materials to designated departments promptly and efficiently. + Operate machinery and equipment, including but not limited to tuggers, rider jacks, and sit-down forklifts. (Forklift experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.) + Transport mail and products throughout the warehouse, ensuring the integrity and quality of items are maintained. + Collaborate with team members to efficiently process, package, and distribute products. + Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and company policies. + Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and reduce material delivery delays. Qualifications: + Experience in handling warehouse machinery is an advantage. + Ability to work as part of a team and independently when necessary. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. + Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions. Work Environment: This role involves physical activity and maneuvering equipment. Candidates should be prepared to work in a dynamic warehouse setting with repetitive movements and potentially heavy lifting.
