Our client is looking for a Sales Director for their Insights and Measurement team, hybrid in NYC, 40 hours per week for 6 months with the potential to extend.Job DescriptionOur client's Insights & Measurement Team is responsible for delivering best-in-class insights to support the Ad Sales division in how we position our premium content, highly engaged audiences, and innovative advertising and sponsorship offerings across our portfolio. This is an opportunity for data-driven storytellers to develop sales-focused research and analytical solutions.The Content & Culture team within Insights & Measurement is seeking a Director to help lead the team in developing sales-driven research and solutions for premium properties across inclusive, popular entertainment shows. This creative and proactive thinker and doer will be a key figure in developing data and insights-driven narratives to support advertising clients, educate the marketplace, and position our client as the premier destination for advertisers within the competitive media landscape. This role will require cross-functional collaboration with internal partners both within Insights and Measurement as well as with Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams across various lines of business. Candidates should have a passion for media and entertainment, data-driven storytelling, and audience behavior.Responsibilities:-Reporting to the VP, Content & Culture, you will: -Partner with the VP of Content & Culture to develop insights-driven narratives, through audience and consumer research, to position the premium content within the video marketplace -Direct and organize team analyses, reports, and presentations that highlight our competitive advantages to drive ad sales revenue for the client's Portfolio -Work with the Impact (i.e. brand measurement, attribution) and Primary research teams to harness ad campaign measurement data, reports, dashboards and proprietary insights to strengthen go-to-market materials and unlock insights into creative best practices for our brand partners -Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Strategy teams to execute against strategic initiatives and business priorities -Scope out and assess new metrics, tools, or resources to help quantify the Value, and our IP in the media landscape -Forge relationships with Network Consumer Insights, Decision Sciences, and Content & Analytics teams to develop well-rounded knowledge of our content and integrate learnings to shape sales narratives and guide ad sales strategy -Manage, develop, and mentor junior members of the Insights and Measurements teamBasic Requirements: -Bachelors degree required -10+ years experience in TV/digital/streaming media research at a media brand, agency or supplier -Proficiency in TV and Digital applications and other syndicated research tools (Nielsen NPower, ComScore, TV Brand Effect, Lake 5, Adobe, Simmons-MRI, etc.) -Extensive knowledge of audience insights and social platforms, such as MRI, YouGov, SCR Talkwalker, etc. -Comprehensive knowledge of cross-platform media landscape including desktop/mobile, OTT, STB VOD, linear television, and social media consumption -Capable of big data analyses, creative storytelling, data visualization and presentation development -Mastery of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required -Successful candidate must be a strategic thinker with a strong interest in advertising/media research, consumer insights and the tech category -Strong communication, presentation, consultative, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability in representing at and/or presenting to internal and external client meetings -Team player, with a focus on cultivating and growing strong internal and external relationships. -Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. -Ability to work efficiently and accurately with excellent attention to detail -Ability to foster positive work environment and develop talent -Thought leader, proactive thinker and doer -Results driven problem-solver -Strong cultural competency and advocate for diversity and inclusionAdditional Requirements:Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing fromthe office a minimum of three days per this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
