Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.Under general supervision, follows oral and/or written instructions in performance of a wide variety of skilled technical maintenance, repair, and testing on complex digital and analog electronic components, electrical and electro-mechanical components, cable assemblies, sub-assemblies, assemblies, field replaceable units (FRU) and systems to support a wide variety of Robotic Systems. Regularly use of diagnostic software for localizing equipment and system problems, specialized testing equipment, analyzers, digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, clocks, timers, calipers, voltmeters, power supplies, rulers, and other test equipment as required.Essential Job Duties Perform failure analysis, repair, testing, and/or packaging per applicable work instructions and experienceUpdates RMA information in SAP such as complaint root cause, complaint codes, pm findings, and repairs neededMaintains work order information such as the BOM, operations completed, tools used for repair, material used for repair, and test resultsAnalyzes wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, and fab drawings to conduct repairs and testing of FRUsProvide detailed symptom descriptions for Failures uncovered during repair, functional test, and calibration to assist in component level troubleshootingConducts quality inspections of own or other’s work to ensure workmanship standards are metComplete all required documentation per GDP guidelinesReports quality issues and provides details necessary to create quality notifications (VR, PL, NCs) records transaction in SAP as needed to preserve traceabilityMaintains neat and orderly work area in compliance with 6S standardsFollows all safety procedures and protocolsQualificationsRequired Skills and Experience2-4 years related experience, or degree in a STEM field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read, write, and understand EnglishAbility to interpret written instructionsAbility to do basic mathAbility to apply logical understanding to carry out instructionsAbility to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical internal customersProficient use of computer and associated programsAcute attention to detailExcellent hand eye coordinationAbility to handle small parts and toolsAbility to work varying shiftsAbility to work in a team environmentRequired Education and Training High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training; and/or on the job trainingWorking Conditions Ability to lift up to 50lbs.Able to use office and test equipment in a typical office/light manufacturing environment.Repetitive motion.
