CommonSpirit has more than 700 care sites across the U.S. and is committed to building healthy communities.Job Summary:Oversight of the day to day operations of the scheduling department at the regional offices. Training and coachingstaff in all areas of their job functions and ensuring accurate and timely patient access.Essential Responsibilities:Oversight of all scheduling staff at assigned regional office.Ensure accurate and complete providers' schedules at assigned regional office.Track staff productivity in variousareas. Audit patient care slips, ensure completion of no show reports, and reminder calls for regional office.Implement internal policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the department.Create weekly employee schedules to ensure coverage.Oversee Order Facilitator, Hospital charge capture, and hospital schedulingprocess at Regional office.Cover scheduling areas as needed.Consult with physicians/clinical staff to schedule patients or resolve scheduling questions.Work with referring physician offices to help build relationships and resolveconcerns.Provide timely and accurate feedback on processes and challenges to Manager/Director of Business Operations. Attend meetingsas necessary.Education:Bachelor's degree and minimum of 1 year experience in the discipline OR 3 years' experience in the discipline.Qualifications:Five years in medical registration/scheduling setting.
