Don't wait... apply today Position Title: Infrastructure & Capital Projects u2013 Data Centers HSE Consultant (Health, Safety, and Environment) Duration: 12+ months with high possibilities of extension Location: Onsite : New Albany, OH Pay Range: $70-80/hr on W2 Job Description: u2022 Develop, implement, and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and standards that align with local regulations, industry best practices, and the owneru2019s requirements. u2022 Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to reduce workplace hazards while safeguarding project objectives. u2022 Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, reporting deviations to the owner and initiating corrective actions. Maintain and update safety documentation, including incident reports, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and audit records, for owner review and regulatory compliance. u2022 Conduct regular HSE training programs for all project personnel, including contractors and subcontractors, tailored to owner expectations. Promote a safety-first culture by organizing awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, and workshops aligned with project milestones. Ensure all personnel understand and can execute emergency procedures and evacuation protocols. u2022 Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive measures. Develop and maintain site-specific emergency response plans, ensuring preparedness for fire, medical, and environmental incidents. Provide incident reports to the owner and relevant authorities in compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. u2022 Conduct regular site inspections and audits to evaluate safety conditions, security measures, and environmental compliance, prioritizing owner interests. Identify non-conformities and ensure that corrective actions are implemented promptly and effectively. Prepare detailed audit reports, including actionable recommendations, for owner review and follow-up. u2022 Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate HSE standards into project planning, execution, and handover. Provide HSE guidance during design reviews, construction phases, and commissioning to ensure alignment with owner objectives. Act as a key liaison between the owner, contractors, and regulatory agencies on all HSE matters. u2022 Develop and oversee strategies to minimize environmental impact, such as waste reduction, energy conservation, and resource optimization. Monitor and report on environmental metrics (e.g., air quality, noise levels, waste management) to ensure compliance with the owneru2019s sustainability goals. Implement and enforce environmental management plans in collaboration with project stakeholders. u2022 Monitor HSE performance metrics and use data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation. Stay updated on changes to health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards, incorporating updates into project practices. Implement lessons learned from incidents and audits to enhance the HSE framework for current and future projects. u2022 Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. HEREu2019S WHAT YOUu2019LL NEED: u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field, OR equivalent relevant experience. u2022 5+ years of experience in HSE roles, with a focus on construction or mission-critical data center projects. u2022 Comprehensive knowledge of local and international safety, security, and environmental regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001). u2022 Experience with incident investigation methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA). u2022 Proficiency in HSE software and reporting tools. u2022 Exceptional communication and leadership skills to drive a safety-first culture. u2022 Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to high-pressure environments.
