Major Duties Under the General Direction of the AD of Facilities and Operations, and direct supervision of the Meal Plan Coordinator, this position is responsible for assisting the Meal Plan Coordinator with the administrative functions for the campus’ meal plan program and serves as a point of contact for all campus departments, dining outlets & vendors regarding the meal plan program. As a contact for students & parents, this position may give presentations to parents of incoming students, sign up new participants each semester, coordinate communication with the students & parents, assist students with interpretation of meal plan charges on their Web Portal, & coordinate in-person sales in the Meal Plan Office. This position will assist in the development, implementation and oversight of all meal plan policies and procedures. This position will also provide ongoing support to the Director of Administrative Services and the AD of Facilities and Operations. Additional duties include special projects for the University Corporation management team as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a job-related field. Additional experience in a job-related field may be substituted for required education on a year-for-year basis. Equivalent to two years of full-time, technical, analytical, or administrative experience. Proficiency in computer skills, including Google Suite, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Familiarity with coordinating meetings, planning, and implementing events and travel arrangements. Experience in arithmetic and general office procedures in human resources, budgeting, and evaluation. General knowledge of financial record-keeping methods, procedures, and practices Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Working knowledge of general practices, programs, and/or administrative specialties. Ability and specialized skills to: Communicate and interact with a diverse population; deal effectively with students, parents and staff; organize, coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks; Interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures; work in a busy environment with frequent interruptions; work well under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously and work with little supervision; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; independently prepare and draft clear and concise final form of memoranda and correspondence; keep moderately complex records and files; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others; perform basic research and statistical analysis; analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistics; compile, write and present reports related to program or administrative specialty; intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC). Anticipated hiring range: $21.00 to $22.50/hour Time Base: Full-Time
