This is a hands-on role assisting in both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of our auto shredder systems. No previous experience on auto shredders is required—we will train the right candidate.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude and a desire to grow in the industrial maintenance field. Candidates with welding experience or prior work around moving conveyor systems are strongly encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:Assist skilled millwrights with mechanical maintenance tasksPerform basic maintenance cleaning and greasingHelp coordinate and organize maintenance parts and toolsSupport both scheduled and emergency repairs on industrial equipmentServe as a second set of hands during large repairs and equipment checksWork alongside operations and maintenance supervisors and outside contractorsFollow all safety guidelines and report any hazards or issues promptlyOpportunity to learn and grow into more advanced maintenance rolesQualifications:Basic mechanical aptitude requiredWelding experience a strong plusExperience working around conveyor systems is a plus (not required)Willingness to work overnight shifts and extended hours as neededStrong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow directionsAbility to lift, move, and work in an industrial environment
