The Conflicts Attorney will be responsible for assisting with the review, identification and resolution of any potential conflicts issues with respect to clients, matters, as well as new hires. The Conflicts Attorney will be actively following up on conflicts clearance with all responsible parties handling new engagements. The Conflicts Attorney will also be conducting comprehensive, daily reviews of firm conflicts of interest reports and resolving any identified issues in a timely manner.This position is available as a fully remote work schedule. Scheduled work hours will be 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM PST.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and provide thorough and timely analysis of all Firm new business to identify ethical and business conflicts of interestUtilize available internal and external databases, communication with Partners, other lawyers and business services colleagues to follow up on and resolve all potential conflicts of interestMaintain thorough, accurate and current records of all conflicts resolutions in database to ensure integrity of the database and assist in identification and clearing of future conflicts of interestAssisting Executive Assistants, lawyers and staff in understanding the Firm’s new matter intake, conflicts, Anti Money Laundering, and other compliance procedures.Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:Outstanding interpersonal skills and capability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization in various functions and locationsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and spokenProven ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government lawFamiliar with standard technology environmentsAble to collaborate or work autonomously as needed.RequirementsJuris Doctor degree required1+ year of Conflicts experience preferredThe primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $56.19 - $76.02 per hourAustin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $50.67 - $68.56 per hourSalt Lake City and all other locations: $44.95 - $60.82 per hourEqual Opportunity Employer (EOE).
