THE ROLE Insomniac is looking for a Lighting Team Member. This position will report to the Lighting Project Manager.RESPONSIBILITIESExecute the installation of lighting fixtures according to the direction provided by the lighting project manager and production designerAssist with running electrical wiring and assisting with troubleshooting electrical issuesAssisting with programming specialty lightingAdditional duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience in lighting setup and operation for live eventsFamiliarity with electrical systems and troubleshootingBasic understanding of lighting programming and control systemsDetail-oriented with a commitment to achieving precise and high-quality resultsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentPosition requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 75lbsWORK ENVIRONMENTMust be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environmentsMay work in drastic temperature climatesMust be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.
