Ferrantello Group P.C. strives to provide outstanding customer service at affordable price points and offer hands on attention to each job.Ferrantello Group P.C. is looking to hire a Land Survey Tech/Draftsperson to perform a variety of drafting duties related to the field of surveying, engineering, drafting, and design technology. The Land Survey Tech/Draftsperson will assist in the preparation and creation of various types of surveys utilized in the location, design and/or construction of roads, structures, geo-technical, flood control projects, storm water facilities, recreational facilities, land development, subdivisions, or other engineering projects, transportation planning, traffic control of highways, and/or other designs.Coordinates with client and Field Crews performing utility locating surveys, control surveys, topographic surveys.Acts as a liaison between client and staff to coordinate survey requirements and needs.Provides daily reports and weekly project progress reports to client and maintains facility survey records.Attend monthly meetings with client and Project Manager (PM)Ability to set priorities, coordinate activities and review plansResearch ‘Hard copy” as well as electronic reference drawingsCheck drawings for use of CAD StandardsPrepare CAD drawing files and maintain facility CAD filesOccasionally assist Survey Party Chief with in the field survey activitiesSign on Bonus EligibleTop Pay for IndustryAble to work effectively in both individual and/or team environments.Must be able to handle multiple projects and reports simultaneouslyExcellent organizational, proofreading and administrative skillsPrevious experience with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD (required)General understanding of activities associated with performing topographic and boundary surveys and construction stake out for both private and public projects (required)Minimum of 3 years of experience at consulting engineering/surveying firmMay be required to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds maximum allowed by current State LawMust be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for long periods of time with or without accommodationsSalary range: $55k-$75k annual, based upon knowledge, experience, and capabilityMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffFlexible ScheduleWhy work with the Ferrantello Group?At the Ferrantello Group, we are committed to providing our most important asset, our employees, a great place to work with opportunities to grow as both an individual and as a professional.We value an inclusive workplace that drives growth, success, and performance.
