As an Access Control Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to provide a reassuring presence, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do: + Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access. + Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting visitors and staff in a professional manner. + Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response guidelines. + Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities. + Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements. + Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies at the location. Minimum Requirements: + A valid driveru2019s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. + Applicants must have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. + An armed guard card or license is required. + Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. + Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Participate in industry-specific security training programs. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driveru2019s license will be required for driving positions only.
