At Lashley Animal Hospital, our veterinarians focus on the study, treatment, and control of pet injuries and diseases, the treatment of acute and chronic illness, the immunization of healthy pets against disease, surgery, nutrition, radiology, dental care, and preventive care for dogs and cats.Our practice serves Swansea,Belleville, Collinsville, Columbia, East St. Louis,Fairview Heights, Freeburg,O’Fallon, Lebanon, Mascoutah, Scott Air Force Base,Shiloh, and the entire St. Louis Metro East area.If you want a family feel, Lashley Animal Hospitalisthe perfect place to call home!We are currently a 3-doctor practice and are looking to add an additional part-time veterinarian to our team so we can continue to grow. Our goal to is to provide the highest comprehensive veterinary care for pets, educate the clients and continue to learn as a doctor. It's not about the cost at our practice, it's about a high level of care.We have lots of surgery and dental cases, so if you're a surgeon, we would love to hear from you!Located in Swansea, IL we are very close to Scott Air Force base. This area offers good schools, outdoor recreation and activities in nearby St Louis.Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.Provide counsel around pet end of life care.Maintain patients’ medical records.Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.Appropriate state licensure.Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.Unlimited personal time off (PTO)Bonus incentivesHealth insurance; dental insurance; vision insuranceRetirement benefits (401(k) or Roth(k) with Companu match)CE and licensure reimbursementFlexible work schedulesManaging career path developmentEmployee Assistance ProgramDVM Referral ProgramRelocation assistance availableUSD $75,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
