Accounting Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Anaheim, California. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate financial records. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Manage high-volume invoicing, ensuring timely and precise data entry. u2022 Perform three-way matching for invoices, purchase orders, and receipts. u2022 Handle collections for outstanding payments and maintain clear and attentive communication with customers. u2022 Reconcile accounts and ensure financial records are up-to-date. u2022 Prepare and process vendor payments and check runs. u2022 Record daily cash receipts and monitor account balances. u2022 Maintain detailed records and documentation for over 400 customer accounts. u2022 Utilize Excel for intermediate-level tasks, such as data analysis and report generation. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Proficiency in handling high-volume invoicing and financial transactions. u2022 Strong knowledge of three-way matching for invoices and purchase orders. u2022 Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel. u2022 Ability to manage collections and interact professionally with customers. u2022 Familiarity with accounting software systems and tools. u2022 Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. u2022 Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial operations.
