This position will support the Mid-Atlantic territoryfor Cochlear.Key ResponsibilitiesCandidate & Professional Partners: Engagement Managers are embedded inthe territory sales strategies as the expert of Cochlear products to ourcandidates and professional partners. The Engagement Manger hasdemonstrated solutions to sell Cochlear's product portfolio throughnurturing of candidates and product launches. Implement local consumermarketing and candidate nurture strategies aimed at growing the marketfor Cochlear implantable technology. Strategies include but are notlimited to planning and execution of candidate growth events, developingstrategic community relationships as well as consumer support forprofessional partners. Manage, develop and inspire mentoring volunteers.Provide candidate communication through a variety of vehicles; inperson, virtual, email and/or phone. This communication may includeexplaining device features and functions and Cochlear services to drivebrand choice. Report issues via the Cochlear complaint management system(Global issue form) and provide detailed description for B2B appropriatefollow up and closure where appropriate.Sales Acumen: Demonstrate sales and business acumen with the ability toidentify market opportunities, competitive positioning, knowledge ofcustomer needs and generate sales and secure orders. The EM is beginningto achieve the target unit quota by establishing strong relationshipswith key people in the assigned territory geography (candidates,audiologists, surgeons, scheduling coordinators and volunteers). Ensuresthat all sales activities within the assigned territory are conducted ina manner that is fully compliant with Cochlear policy, laws andregulations. Maintains accurate documentation of all sales activitiesand customer interactions in compliance with Cochlear's policies toensure leadership sales reporting and provide a seamless customerexperience. Collaborates with B2B teammates to educate on products todevelop strong relationships with schools, Deaf/Hard of Hearingschools/programs and non-programming audiologists. Executes sales andmarketing initiatives, delivering the associated marketing messages sothat the impact on the customer is successful and positive. TheEngagement Manager, coordinates and provides candidate educationalevents, evaluation days and awareness events related to Cochleardevices. Collaborates with B2B and CPNTM to support growth initiativesin the territory. Provides market intelligence and competitiveinformation that can be utilized in developing effective ways toapproach current and potential customers. Maintains a professional imagewhen representing Cochlear Americas.Business Acumen: Manages territory expenses to budget. Allocatesappropriate company resources and planning to achieve territory sa essuccess. Assists with developing and implementing quarterly strategicplans to achieve objectives. Submits territory information in a timelymanner for the content of the territory month end report. Consistentlyuses all sales tools including, Salesforce, Miller Heiman purple sheets,Communication Pathway, Schedule Once, Ava and Show Pad in the managementof the consumer sales territory.Key RequirementsTo add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet anddemonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in yourapplication and at interview:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Work Experience- 2- 3 Years of Experience- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.- Current & valid driver's license- Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time with overnight stays and weekends.Desired SkillsFluent in English and SpanishStrong computer skills with experience in various software packages,including Microsoft Suite and web-based applications.Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment and balance /manage multiple, changing priorities while maintaining a high level ofattention to detail.Excellent written and v
