The Spares team request for proposals based on a set of requirements, solicits the supply base for compliant and competitive proposals, negotiates costs and ensures on time delivery of after market spares. This team is also responsible for order placement, adjustments and cancellations as required to support the business. , Position Responsibilities:Responsible for researching, sourcing, evaluating and processing orders to purchase services, supplies and equipment based on price, service, quality and warranty to meet customer needs.Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply, optimizing execution of the supply chain while balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand.Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills.Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.Spares pricing and lead-time negotiations.Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customerâs requirements.
