With over 700 employees and growing, we have thousands of years of combined electrical utility experience to draw from when committing to provide our clients with a wide range of utility services.As our Licensing Specialist, you'll manage contractor licensing across multiple states, ensuring compliance and operational continuity. This role is perfect for someone proactive, analytical, and collaborative.License Management: Research state licensing requirements, prepare applications, and proactively track renewals across active and target states.Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in laws and regulations to ensure company adherence and advise internal teams; maintain a centralized database of all licenses and RME/RMO information to ensure continuous operational compliance.Agency Coordination: Liaise with state boards to resolve issues and ensure timely approvals.Documentation & Reporting: Keep organized records and generate compliance reports.Audit Support: Assist legal and compliance teams during inspections and audits.Cross-Team Collaboration: Align licensing efforts with company policies and train internal teams.Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot licensing delays and streamline processes.Other related duties and projects as assignedProcess Improvement: develop and refine strategies for redundancy for license classifications and RME/RMOBachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, legal studies, or a related field3-5 years of professional experience in operations, compliance, licensing, or customer serviceExperience in construction, solar, or contractor licensing is highly preferredFamiliarity with multi-state licensing and regulatory filings is a plusStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to interpret and apply regulations across jurisdictionsProficiency in tracking systems and managing multiple deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication for coordinating with agencies and internal teamsAttention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervisionPersistence in navigating regulatory processesPay- $ 75,000 - $ 90,000 /Annually *Depending on ExperienceBenefits include-- Medical, Dental, Vision, 401KOur projects are regulated by federal and state laws which require all employees to successfully pass criminal background checks, MVR, and drug tests (post-employment and random testing).The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time.This job description is subject to change at any time.Our Company is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
