Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in The Woodlands, Texas. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting and a desire to grow professionally, potentially pursuing CPA certification. The position offers the opportunity to manage various financial tasks while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. u2022 Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks software to manage and track financial data efficiently. u2022 Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management review. u2022 Handle general bookkeeping duties, including transaction entries and account adjustments. u2022 Support office management tasks and contribute to the organizationu2019s administrative needs. u2022 Perform basic accounting tasks and provide support for more complex financial operations. u2022 Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures. u2022 Take on additional responsibilities, as needed, to support the smooth operation of the office. Requirements u2022 A degree in accounting or a related field, or recent completion of coursework in accounting. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications. u2022 Prior experience in bookkeeping or office management roles. u2022 Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial tasks. u2022 A proactive approach and willingness to assist with various tasks, including administrative duties. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills. u2022 Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
