This position is on-site in Irvine, CA. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments. What Youu2019ll Do: u2022 Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. u2022 Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. u2022 Manage the relationship with the client while working with other stakeholders to meet all MSA requirements. u2022 Responsible for ensuring the completion of configuration management, work orders, preventative maintenance, and repairs within the agreed SLA timeframe. u2022 Resolve unforeseen circumstances that occur and inform the client or Sr. management when needed. u2022 Verify facility infrastructure equipment installations are within the agreed SLA timeframe. u2022 Oversee Information Technology equipment power installations, relocation and decommission requests. u2022 Check daily routine cleanup of the data halls and review findings. u2022 Confirm all deployments are installed to applicable internal, manufacturer, and industry standards. u2022 Ensure that all records are updated following any changes made. Ensure that documentation is also kept up to date for all applicable processes. u2022 Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments and present to Sr. management. u2022 Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. u2022 Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. u2022 Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes. What Youu2019ll Need: u2022 Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. u2022 Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. u2022 Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. u2022 Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. u2022 In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. u2022 Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. The minimum salary for the Data Center Manager position is $120,000 annually [or $57.69 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Data Center Manager position is $145,000 annually [or $69.71 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidateu2019s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBREu2019s applicable benefit program.
