Dental Hygienist Traveling PT

Dental Hygienist / Part-Time Travel Position Location: Keizer, OR Travel Position with Part-Time Hours $50-55/Hr + Full Benefits 1,2 or 3 -10 hr shifts / week The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for providing comprehensive oral hygiene care and educating patients on maintaining optimal oral health. This position requires travel to different locations within or near Keizer, OR. Essential Responsibilities: Perform direct patient oral hygiene care and treatment services. Document patient data and oral health information. Provide oral hygiene instruction and education to patients. Maintain a clean and safe clinical work environment. Assist with office tasks during downtime. Perform any additional duties as requested. Education Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program with a minimum of an associates degree in applied science. License, Certification, Registration Dental Hygienist License (Oregon) National Provider Identifier Basic Life Support certification Preferred Qualifications: Nitrous oxide permit Knowledge of sterilization and infection control procedures Basic computer skills Restorative function endorsement (Oregon Dental Hygiene license only) Responsibilities: Conduct dental hygiene assessments, periodontal charting, and oral cancer screenings. Administer prophylactic and periodontal maintenance treatments. Take and evaluate dental radiographs. Apply fluoride and dental sealants as necessary. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices. Collaborate with dentists to create treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records. Adhere to infection control protocols. Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction. Stay updated on dental hygiene practices. Qualifications: Valid Oregon Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license. Local Anesthesia endorsement (preferred). Experience with Dentrix, EagleSoft is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent clinical skills. Proactive, team-oriented, and committed to learning.
