This employee is responsible for following a strict and uniform process for mixing sugar and waffle cone batters, and accurately recording all required information for each batch. This position is also responsible for refilling ingredient bins and completing stock rotation documentation.Make batters following the Batter Formula and Mixing ProceduresCommunicate non-conformities with Shift SupervisorsClean/sanitize all batter lines and equipment in batter roomClean all batter room equipment and structures as described in Batter Room clean-up logsFollow proper procedures for cleaning of biohazard spills/accidentsClean and sanitize pumps and pans and return them to the plantClean and sanitize as required by the Allergen Control ProgramMix syrup as described in the Syrup Making and Viscosity Testing ProceduresClean and refill syrup dispensersConduct all ingredient and equipment inspections and complete required testingBales corrugate and transfer bales to the warehouse for storageEnsure product authenticity via verification of ingredientsConduct checks pertaining to Food Safety and Quality and documentation of checks as requiredPerform related duties as required by supervisorAble to read, understand, and strictly follow written procedures for multiple controlled processesAble to make and record measurements with a high degree of accuracy and repeatabilityGood understanding of and strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP)Must be organized and maintain work area to a high level of cleanlinessAble to identify areas that need attention and either address or report as necessaryAble to safely operate fork-lift equipmentMust be able to speak, listen, and effectively communicate with team membersFollow direction and perform assigned work duties independently with minimal supervisionAdherence to the company attendance policy is required, including expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absencesThis position involves regular bending, stooping, twisting, and liftingRequired to stand on their feet and/ or walk up to 12 hours per dayMust be able to safely lift up to 75 pounds, climb, reach and regularly use stairsMust have demonstrated a good work record and attendanceMust be signed off to pack a minimum number of sugar cone packsMust be trained and signed off of SanitationStarting from USD $24.44/Hr.
