Branch located in Pittsburgh area- seeking driver local to Harrisburg area Must be willing to train in-person at Pittsburgh branch for one week- expenses covered Who You Are: Successful candidates for the Class A CDL Driver role are motivated and eager to provide a high level of customer service. You are someone with previous driving experience and is familiar with pre and post trip inspections and using online log systems. What You Will Be Doing: Transport materials to and from specified destinations- leave out of Harrisburg area to deliver to routes in New Jersey and Maryland Distribute receipts for loads picked up Maintain truck log, according to state and federal regulations Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water Assist customer with offloading process Position blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit Maintain telephone and/or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions Occasionally collect payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges Skills You Bring: Current/Active CDL Class A License with a good driving record Two or more years of Class A CDL driving experience Can operate manual transmission Minimum of one year of commercial driving experience preferred Must pass driver testing Must pass DOT physical ( drug testing (DOT) Must be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs. independently Proficient in English language Basic math to understand product weight and truck limits
