Duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following: Performing the duties of an administrative level buyer (not a big buyer) Communicating with engineers, manufacturing and suppliers Sourcing items to be purchased including metals and plastics as well as parts and components Pricing and purchasing items for manufacturing projects Creating purchase orders Buying strictly for the project at hand (most of what is purchased is already spec’d Entering information into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Microsoft Excel The background of the successful candidate must include the following: Three or more years of purchasing experience for manufacturing operations One or more years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software Two or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel Possess a solid work history Being a US citizen or green card holder Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
