He or she must be able to communicate with pet family members about what is best for their pets. Strong animal handling skills are highly valuable, so if you have experience training or handling dogs, horses, or other animals, this job could be a great fit! We provide paid training to develop grooming skills. If you really love animals this is the perfect career path for you. Our groomers develop a close and special relationship with every pet they care for and with their families as well. Lora & Sam, the owners, are both heavily involved in the business with Lora as one of our groomers since the beginning and Sam spending quite a bit of time filling in as a bather as needed, so we've built our team around respect for groomers - concern for their safety and wellbeing, providing grown and educational opportunities and emphasizing care for the pets and their treatment.
