2nd Shift Production SupervisorHours: 1:00 - 9:30 p.m.Gpac is working with a food manufacturing company in western OH known for producing high-quality meat products with a commitment to safety, consistency, and innovation. They take pride in their people-first culture and dedication to continuous improvement.Position OverviewThe 2nd Shift Production Supervisor will oversee production operations during the 2nd shift to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate a team, drive productivity, and maintain compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities for assigned shift to meet schedules and targets.Lead, train, and develop production team members to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards.Monitor equipment performance and collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime.Enforce and uphold company policies, GMPs, HACCP, and all food safety and sanitation guidelines.Track and report shift performance metrics including yields, waste, efficiency, and labor utilization.Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Sanitation departments to resolve issues and improve processes.Conduct shift handoff meetings and communicate effectively across departments.Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications 1-2+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing or related industry required.Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations.Proven ability to lead and motivate hourly production employees.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
