This role involves working closely with engineering, production, and customers to resolve issues, manage documentation, and uphold quality standards in an automotive manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform quality reviews and audits of design documentation, vendor manuals, and company quality records Utilize AIAG core tools to address and resolve quality issues Manage internal and external quality concerns, including Fast Track Response, customer complaints, and defect analysis Support continuous improvement initiatives such as SPC, capability studies, and 8D/5Why problem-solving Maintain customer quality systems and support TS16949-related activities Oversee supplier quality issues and manage products in the quality hold area Coordinate rework and sorting operations as needed Ensure approved PPAP status is maintained for all customers Create, update, and maintain job books and documentation aligned with customer specifications Conduct random job audits and collaborate with manufacturing teams to drive improvement Perform plant audits and support operational quality functions Oversee vendor quality control and certification of measuring equipment Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience in lean manufacturing techniques Strong technical knowledge of product and process engineering Experience with program launches in an automotive manufacturing environment
