This opportunity is with a leading engineering services firm dedicated to serving local communities with a focus on excellence, strong client relationships, and technical expertise.Job Duties:Participate on project teams for a variety of transportation projects.Lead or support planning, design, and reporting activities.Provide construction oversight and management on transportation projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely project delivery.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.5-15 years of experience in transportation projects such as roadway rehabilitation, reconstruction, intersection and traffic signal design, traffic studies, and shared-use paths.Knowledge of IDOT standards, Phase I/II design requirements, and MFT requirements preferred.Experience with MicroStation and traffic modeling software (e.g., Highway Capacity Software or Synchro) a plus.Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) strongly preferred or willingness to obtain.P.T.O.E. license or ability to obtain within one year is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Valid driver’s license required.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
