The Children's Pharmacy team seeks a residency trained Clinical Pharmacist to join the PICU team.Minimum training/experience include PGY1 Residency and 2 to 3 years experience in a PICU.Preferred training/experience:PGY2 training or Fellowship. May be asked to assist in supervising the activities of all department employees in consultation with the department Director and/or Pharmacy Manager.Job DescriptionMinimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor of Science with equivalent experience or clinically oriented Master of Science degree accepted;Doctorate of Pharmacy degree preferredLicenses/Certifications:Licensure in State of TexasPharmacy Sterile Product certification through an in-house program or other accredited program if appropriatePreferred completion of ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency or fellowship or demonstration of equivalent experienceExperience / Knowledge / Skills:One(1) year or greater experience as a Clinical Pharmacist IAbility to promote teamwork, build effective relationships, and to lead/facilitate work groupsStrong customer service skillsKnowledge of pharmacy and hospital computer systems and computer-assisted devicesFamiliarity with health care reimbursement environment
