CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:Sherwin-Williams is seeking a strategic and tactical leader to manage global chemical compliance initiatives. This role will be responsible for tracking emerging regulations, leading compliance projects, and driving business improvements in regulatory systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong regulatory expertise, project management skills, and a business-oriented mindset to ensure Sherwin-Williams remains ahead of global chemical compliance requirements. Duties include, but are not limited to:(1) REGULATORY SUPPORT - Tactical Compliance:Monitor, track, and assess emerging global chemical regulations and their potential impact on Sherwin-Williams raw materials, products, and operations.Develop and lead projects to ensure compliance with key chemical regulations across global markets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement regulatory changes effectively and efficiently.(2) CUSTOMER SUPPORT:Serve as a subject matter expert in responding to internal and external customer inquiries related to regulatory and product stewardship matters.Manage and respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies, including those with potential for significant business impact or penalties.Develop and deliver training programs for internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements, product stewardship policies, and Sherwin-Williams processes.Represent Sherwin-Williams Regulatory and Product Stewardship functions in external engagements, including industry forums, regulatory meetings, and customer interactions.(3) CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT - Strategic Compliance:Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance regulatory compliance systems, focusing on business integration and long-term sustainability.Manage alternatives assessments to support compliance decision-making and product stewardship strategies.Partner with internal stakeholders to align compliance strategies with business objectives.
